Catch up cards on my desk

Just sharing my desk with the ladies at 'Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday'. Chaos reigns as I make a stack of cards for my kids to use. They are often looking for a card bit my vintage cards do not appeal so I have taken an evening to make some basic fun cards for them to use.

They are all made with an old Stamping up set I bought on eBay for just this sort of quick fun birthday cards.

  1. Hi Amanda, nice set of fun cards. Great stamp. I make batches of cards for my grandsons who seem to go to an awful lot of birthday parties now they are at school/preschool. Have a lovely week Heather #11

  2. Wow, your cards are fabulous - I love the stamp set, it looks like a very useful addition to anyone's craft stash! Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by my desk earlier,

  3. That's a great bunch of cards you made there Amanda! I should do a 'round' like that for myself too soon as my stack seems to be no longer a 'stack' anymore and most of my friends/family expect a handmade card when it's their birthday (and I don't mind, of course! but not having a stack, those 'deadlines' can be annoying) Oops, reading my comment back I think it's not grammatacally good what I wrote, it's early in the Netherlands and my brain isn't fully 'set on English' yet... sorry. Have a great day, hug from Holland. Marit #18

  6. Oh perfect, what a Great thing that to do! lovely cheerful cards. I know about the vintage stuff not being so appreciated. Way back at the beginning of Tim Holtz’ career, I couldn’t bear the ‘7 shades of wee wee’ the inkpads offered. Was so happy to see real colour in Distress Inks!

  8. This is just ONE more reason I don't make cards, Amanda. Yours are stunning. I love the bright colors, although I also love vintage. You made some real beauties. Sorry I was late visiting. Happy extremely late WOYWW from #3.

  11. Hi Amanda I made it before the next WOYWW Yayyy!!
You've made great use of that bargain buy no doubt from the bay of E* I have a note book full of requests for cards with deadlines getting nearer & nearer eek!
It can be hard to focus when asked for something not quite to your style. The kids friends will love them.
Thank for sharing WOYWW, so glad I made it before closing time.
